Composer and musician Christian Tamburr was inspired by the artwork created by Linda Alterwitz’s series Envisioning the Veil. He composed three songs that correspond to three of her pieces in that series. I Behold was inspired by “Untitled #2” (I Behold). The lyricist is Michael Andrew and the vocalist is Jane Monheit.
